We do not utilize the Invisalign system due to it's limited application and high cost. We do utilize a similiar system that is far more cost effective. We provide (clear) porcelain braces as an option for adults.
Orthodontic treatment has changed in the last 15 years. We use light wires for slow continues pressure. We do not twist, crank and tighten braces anymore.
No gum, caramel, gummy bears, milk duds, jelly beans, tootsie rolls, bit-o-honey, skittles, starburst, cry babies, licorice, dots, taffy, airhead, and etc. Sticky foods will extend orthodontic treatment, due to the bending of wires.
There are a few different types of braces available to our patients. Stainless steel braces are the most common in most orthodontic practices. But we also offer clear braces that are made of porcelain materials.
No hidden or extra costs!! There is no extra cost what so ever. At your exam with Dr. Kabot will provide you with the total cost of your orthodontic treatment.
Our hours of operation are listed on the 'Locations' page. Dr. Kabot changes his hours to match patient flow due to uncontrolable events, such as school and holidays.
Genetics, patient cooperation and dental hygiene will determine how long you will have braces. The average time range is anywhere from 1.5 years to 2 years.
